USL side Harrisburg City Islanders unveil Inter Allies duo Ropapa Mensah and Abass Mohammed
Abass Mohammed and Ropapa Mensah unveiled

Ropapa Mensah and Abass Mohammed have been unveiled as Harrisburg City Islanders new players for the 2017 USL season in the USA.

The duo were part of four final signings announced at their new club’s Secretariat on Thursday afternoon.

Both players started the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League campaign with the ‘Eleven Is To One’ before leaving after match day 5.

Ropapa: “The Harrisburg City Islanders are one of the best teams in the USL and this is a great place for me to develop as a player.”

“I am excited to belong to the club and look forward to helping in every way possible this season.”

Abass Mohammed: “When you are offered a spot on one of the top teams in the USL, you don’t pass it up.”

“Playing with the Islanders is an important step for me and I hope to develop into a top notch player with this organization.”

The Harrisburg City Islanders are entering their 14th Season in Central Pennsylvania as a professional soccer team in the United Soccer League.
