Published on: 17 December 2012

FC Utrecht boss Jan Wouters has expressed delight at the qualities of Ghanaian winger Nana Akwasi Asare.

Asare, 26, has put in a string of impressive performances for the Utrejs this season scoring thrice and providing 8 assists in 16 appearances.

Jan Wouters believes captain Nana Asare and co. provides a midfield solidity for the White and Reds.

He said: "With Adam Sarota, Tommy Oar, Nana Asare and Anouar Kali FC Utrecht has a technically skilful midfield, consisting of players with specific and complementary qualities. The coach of FC Utrecht at the word."

Utrecht are sixth on the Eredivisie log with 29 points from 17 games.
