'Vampires' are blocking Hearts of Oak attempt in securing sponsorship deals, the club's Commercial Affairs Manager Kwaku Sakyi Quashie has revealed.
He says the vampires' thirst for blood have thwarted every attempt at making the club attractive for corporate Ghana.
Quarshie, who was appointed in June 2017 to oversee the club's commercial department, has been left utterly frustrated by the lack of activity since joining.
Hearts have struggled to attract sponsors amid a crippling bad image which has bedeviled the club for years.
“We have not been able to brand the club well for sponsorship because there are vampires sucking blood,” he fumed on Asempa FM.
It's unclear who the vampires are but appears they must find solution and fast to avert the damaging scenario.
Suspended coach Frank Nuttall is under investigations for advising players against renewing their contracts.
