Ghana international attacker Jeffrey Schlup has statedà Leicester City is exactly the right place for him to improve as a player, after signing a new four-year contract with the Club.
The 22-year-old Hamburg-born versatile attacker inked a four-year extension deal with the Foxes followingà an outstanding first season in the Barclays Premier League.
Having started 30 of Cityââ¬â¢s 38 games in the league last season, 2014/15 was the first campaign in which Schlupp, 22, has properly established himself as a first team regular.
The Black Stars player, who has been at Leicester City since age 11, remainsà confident that he can continue to move forward if he keeps gathering such experience.
ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢m absolutely delighted to sign for a club that is seriously going places,â⬠Jeff told lcfc.com
ââ¬ÅWeââ¬â¢ve seen how far the Club has progressed in the last few years and it looks like itââ¬â¢s just the beginning.
ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢ve been here a long time, I know a lot about the city and the Club and Iââ¬â¢ve always felt settled in Leicester. Itââ¬â¢s a great place to work every day, I know a lot of people here and I think thatââ¬â¢s helped me to progress. Itââ¬â¢s a really good environment for a young player to learn and improve your game.
ââ¬ÅHaving just played my first real full season, I want to make sure I come back in the right condition so that I can kick on, get more football and keep developing.
ââ¬ÅI want to play as much as I can in the next four years so itââ¬â¢s all about settling down and getting games under my belt.ââ¬
