Versatile Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah willing to play anywhere

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is happy to play anywhere for Italian champions Juventus.

Asamoah produced man-of-the-match display for the Old Ladies as they recorded a 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the season opener last Sunday.

The 27-year-old bossed the midfield as the champions coasted to victory.

The Ghanaian has missed most of the past two seasons with knee problems.

"I'm ready to play both as a midfielder and a wing-back," Asamoah told Sky Italia.

“It all depends on what the Coach [Massimiliano Allegri] tells me to do. If he says 'Asa, play as a midfielder' then I'm ready to do that role, I can do that or play on the flank.

“I'm training well together with my teammates, we're ready to get the season started. It's been almost two years that I haven't had pre-season with the team.

“This time I've been able to do everything and also play in all of the friendlies. I'm glad that I've managed to spend all the time with the squad.

“It's not that I was scared to come back, it's just that I was worried about not feeling the same as before, that I wouldn't be able to train and play with the team.

“On the contrary though, at the moment those things haven't happened.'
