Richard Kingson has revealed he is making efforts to contact Adam Kwarasey to convince him into making a Ghana return.

The US-based goalkeeper has refused to declare himself available for Black Stars selection since the end of Ghana’s disastrous campaign at the 2014 World Cup.

Kwarasey is widely reported to have fallen out with Ghana’s goalkeeper’s trainer Nassam Yakubu following a public spat over his exclusion from the starting line up having started Ghana’s opening game in Brazil.

Efforts have been made by several people to have Kwarasey return to the international fold – the latest being coach Avram Grant.

Richard Kingson, who Kwarsey took over from as then the first choice goalkeeper now reveals he is also making efforts to speak to the Portland Timbers goalkeeper.

“I have been trying to get his number because I know he will listen to me,” the Great Olympics goalkeeper revealed.

“I remember when he came first to the Black Stars team he used to come to my room for some advises.”
