Experienced Ghanaian trainer EK Afranie is backing Medeama to qualify to the money zone of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Mauve and Yellows are in Congo this weekend where they take on AC Leopards in the first leg tie of Africa’s inter-club competition.

They will hope to record a favourble result away from home to ensure the return  encounter is made much easier and ex-Kotoko and Hearts coach Emmanuel Afranie is confident they will scale the hurdle.

“It is going to be very difficult just like any other away game but we will go there and make Ghana proud,” he said

“Our objective is to secure a comfortable result there in order to make the second leg much easier.”

The ambitious Ghanaian side have been phenomenal in the debut campaign where they have managed wins over Panthers FC, Maghreb de Fes and Zesco United.
