Ghana winger Christian Atsu is the latest to join a massive media campaign aimed at educating West Africans about the dangers of Ebola.
The 22-year-old alongside his Everton teammate Samuel Etoââ¬â¢o and five other Premier League footballers are now on the Fight Ebola educational channel launched across a number of countries.
With West Africa facing the worst Ebola outbreak in history, the channel aims to inform populations in affected areas about the nature and dangers of the disease and how to fight it.
The channel's message emphasizes the fact that Ebola is spreading and that there is a great need for people to protect themselves, their families and their entire communities.
Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Adebayor, Moussa Dembele, John Obi Mikel and Peter Odemwingie have also lent their support to the Fight Ebola channel, which is available to free-to-air television viewers and Pay TV subscribers.
