Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko ace Charles Taylor has been ordained as a "Man of God" Priest.

This comes as no surprise after the 34-year-old expressed his desire to preach the word of God about a month ago.

He said: "My concentration now is to become a pastor because in everything we do, God must come first. I am always grateful to God for how far he has brought me and I want to preach his word.”

Taylor's mercurial talent ended prematurely due to end due to a career-ending knee injury.

He later revealed in a documentary that a Hearts of Oak fan (deceased) used black magic to destroy his career following his move to rival club Asante Kotoko in 2003.
