Despite joining Enyimba FC late in the season, Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was nominated amongst the top three goalkeepers in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The stupendous demonstration of aptness and timely saves by the Ghanaian goalkeeper couldn't be overlooked as the technical study group of the NPFL nominated him among the best shot stoppers of the season.
The former AshGold goalkeeper joined Enyimba FC after 8 matches in the NPFL but demonstrated experience and swift response to dangerous situations to earn the recognition.
Dauda made some brilliant saves and stoppages on numerous occasions forcing commendations from their opponents sometimes.
His magnificent outing this season guided Enyimba FC to the CAF Confederation Cup competition next year, a feat the club had eyes on.
The Ghana goalie who is yet to be handed a call up following the second coming of Coach Kwesi Appiah has shown he still has a lot to offer the team and deserve a recall into the Black Stars.
