Five Ghanaian players were in action for Jose Mourinho’s African United select side that beat La Liga select side 3-2 in a fun-filled charity match on Wednesday.

Mubarak Wakaso scored one of the goals that helped Africa United to the victory.

Derek Boateng and Jonathan Mensah were in action as well as Quincy Owusu Abeyie and Jeffery Sarpong.

The money raised through this game will go to UNICEF and the Foundation of Kanoute.

Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho was on the bench as the coach of Africa United and created special moments of fun for the fans.

Derek Boateng also created fun by pulling goalkeeper Casillas as they tried to dribble past him while Cameroonian goalkeeper Carlos Kameni also created some moments to savour.

According to reports, the controversial “Special One” didn’t think twice before accepting the Africans’ request to lead their team since Wednesday night’s friendly match was all about a charity project.
