Scotsman Frank Nuttall took charge of Hearts of Oak's pre season training a day after returning from his native where he was on holidays.
There had been speculations surrounding his future after delaying his return to Ghana.
But he finally showed up on Tuesday night and the next day Nuttall was at the team's training ground at Legon.
Nuttall led Ghana to third place on his debut season with the Phobians.
He is facing some opposition from within with board member Dr Nyaho Nyaho calling for his dismissal.
