Ghanaian forward Thomas Boakye was given the marching orders in his side’s lone goal defeat to Frej in the Swedish Superettan on Saturday.

Boakye was handed a second yellow card for elbowing his marker in the 84th minute of the game.

The Ghanaian was first booked in the 35th minute of the game for a crunchy tackle on his marker but that did not deter the player who was sent off later.

Boakye’s side Varberg lost the game by a lone goal after Sweden international Dusan Jajic superbly hit the back of the net in the 32nd minute of the game.
