Selassie Adjei has been ruled out of Sunday's match

Hearts of Oak suffered a major blow ahead of Sunday's Super Clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko when key midfielder Selassie Adjei was ruled out of the game.

The two sides, who are Ghana's biggest clubs, will meet in the match that is likely to determine the fate of either side in the Ghanaian top-flight.

However Adjei who is a key player for Hearts is unable to recover from a recent injury he suffered, ruling him out of the key game, says team manager Sabahn Quaye.

Hearts is seeking to complete a double over Kotoko after beating the Porcupine Warriors 1-0 in the first round clash in Kumasi in February this year.
