Head coach of Ghana’s home-based Black Stars Maxwell Komadu, reiterates how the triumph of the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations has made Ghanaians happy and how his side achieved the success.
The Black Stars B thumped the Super Eagles of Nigeria by -1 in the finals of the competition to defend the title they won in 2013.
A brace from striker Stephen Sarfo, with a goal each from Hearts duo Vincent Atingah and Winful Cobbinah won the day for the hosts.
And Maxwell, despite admitting that the win can’t pay for missing out of the CHAN tournament but has made Ghanaians happy.
