Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah believes his call up to the Black Stars is only a matter of time following his move to Finish champions HJK Helsinki.
The 22-year-old has moved to HJK on a three-year deal after impressing in his debut season in Finish football at Honka FC.
Baah was voted the Rookie of the Season following his consistent displays for Honka â⬓ earning him the move to the champions for an undisclosed amount almost a fortnight ago.
The former Asante Kotoko full back is now looking forward to earning his first international call up with the Black Stars which feels is not far off.
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s in the making,â⬠he said in an interview with his new clubââ¬â¢s television channel.
ââ¬ÅI think I have all the qualities to play in the national team for Ghana and I will not be surprised if I get called up.
ââ¬ÅIt is my dream play for the Ghana national team and also it serves as a platform for me myself.ââ¬
Baah will be playing in the next edition of the prestigious UEFA Champions League.
The former Sporting Mirren player had trials at Chelsea after winning the inaugural edition of the MTN Soccer Academy competition in 2007.
