New York Red Bulls FC defender Gidoen Baah played his first Major League Soccer match on Sunday in their 2-0 home defeat to FC Toronto.
Baah played the entire duration as two late goals from Sebastian Giovinco and Marco Delgado gave the visitors the points.
The Ghana international was impressed with his debut performance but saddened by their defeat.
“I think it’s a good start especially for me. I loved everything about my debut and it’s just unfortunate we lost and I hope we get a better result and also congratulations to Toronto FC," ” Baah told the media after the game.
"I think they did a good job and it’s unfortunate we lost."
