Former D.C. United striker Ernest Boateng bagged a hat trick for Vision FC in their 3-0 win over Agbozome Weavers in Zone III of the Division One League.
He becomes the second player after Ebenezer Adjepong who also scored a hat-trick in Techiman City's 3-0 win over Tano Bofoakwa on Sunday in Zone I .
Boateng, who turns 17 in June, was ruthless in front of goal and displayed like a fox in the box.
His first goal was registered in the 40th minute when he headed in Yamoah's in-swinger.
The lanky forward tapped in Prince Ofori's low cross to double the lead on 56 minutes.
In the 67th minute, Boateng ensured his superior aerial ability counted when he prodded home another Yamoah cross from the left side of attack.
Boateng started playing as a midfielder but was converted to lead the attack two seasons ago because of his natural knack for scoring goals in the Brong Ahafo Division Two League.
