Wa All Stars captain Hafiz Adams has blamed referee Reginald Lathbridge for his side's 2-1 defeat to Hearts of Oak in their MTN FA Cup semi-final match on Sunday in Obuasi.
The right-back claims the centre referee intimidated his teammates by flashing a lot of cards.
Patrick Razak gave the Phobians the lead on 31 minutes before Kwame Kizito doubled the lead in the 52nd minute.
Wa All Stars came fighting back with the consolation from Sam Mensah in the 68th minute.
Adams felt they could have done better had officiating been fair.
''You could see what was happening from the first minute to the 88th minute. As you said he's human so he can make mistakes but it can't continue from the 1st minute to the 90th minute,'' Adams said at the post-match conference.
''You could see that the way he was cautioning my players it's too bad. I think we were all making fouls in the field of play and so the cards shouldn't be given to only one side- it should be both.''
