In-form Ghana winger Solomon Asante exhibited pure magic of skill during Phoenix Rising 3-1 defeat at home against Sacramento Republic in the United Soccer League at Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex.

Two goals from Cameron Iwasa and Villyan Bijev put the visitors ahead in the game before Chris Cortez halved the deficit for Phoenix in the 62nd minute.

However, Sacramento run away with the maximum points in the 88th minute after Wilson Kneeshaw fired a low shot past goalkeeper Zac Lubin.

However, one significant move that caught the eye of spectators at the stadium was Solomon Asante's Cristiano Ronaldo-esque back-flick pass to Kody Wakasa.

Chelsea and Ivorian legend Didier Drogba switched play to the right hand side of midfield to Asante, but the Ghana international nonchalantly arched his back, allowing the ball to cushion off of his spine, and roll perfectly into the path of compatriot Wakasa.

The Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex applauded his arrogance, but also his brilliance.

Asante has been sublime form for the Phoenix in the ongoing USL campaign - having netted 4 goals in 11 appearances to propel the club to 2nd on the league standings.
