Hearts of Oak in-form goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy is closing in on a move to Dutch side Vitesse Arnheim.

The Eredivise side are ready to splash out $250,000 for the signature of the 28-year-old who has impressed for the capital-based side this term.

Vitesse has made an official approach for the shot-stopper with a deal likely to materialize at the end of the season.

Sources say Hearts will only allow the highly-rated goalkeeper to leave for medicals at the end of the season as they weigh their valuation of the former Fetteh Feyernord  gloves man.

McCarthy has been one of the brightest spot of the Hearts team that has flattened to deceive this term.

He has dislodged ex-Ghana international Sammy Adjei from the number one position.

If the deal is concretized, he will likely team up with compatriot Anthony Annan who is keen to make his loan move permanent.
