Volta Region Division Two middle league hits the road

The Votal Regional Duvision Two middle league has started on a competitive note with Dynamo FC and Narita FC makin winning starts in the first round of matches.

The league which begun on Thursday in Kpando saw Dynamo FC from the Central sector locking horns with Nadm SC, champions of the Northern sector in the opening fixture.

Dynamo FC after hot exchanges with their opponents drew the first blood in the 34th minute from the spot through midfielder Nawayo Johnson to send Dynamo into the dressing room.

Nadm returned into the game with high spirits but were unable to net an equalizer ending the game 1-0 in favor of Dynamo.

Elsewhere, Narita FC also made a good start to their GN Division One campaign by beating All Stars FC in a fiercely contested game.

Narita FC, champions from the Southern Sector A, made an early incursion into the vital area of All Stars FC resulting in a penalty kick after their player was brought down just twelve minutes into the game.

The resultant penalty was expertly converted leaving the score line 1-0 after regulation time.

Winner of the three days leagues goes to the National Division 1.
