Video: Vorsah boosts World Cup hopes with return

Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah has returned to the first team of German side TSG Hoffenheim after two months on the treatment table.

The strong defender was on the bench for the Bundesliga side as they beat Frankfurt 2-1 on Saturday with both Hoffenheim goals comnig from his compatriot Prince Tagoe.

His appearance on the Hoffenheim bench during Saturday's game paves the way for him to play for the Black Stars at the World Cup if he maintains his fitness.

Vorsah was expected to play for his club in their Bundesliga clash against Hamburg last week but he failed a fitness test.

He suffered the injury to his knee after tearing a medial collateral ligament during a Bundesliga match in February.

He began full-scale training two weeks but the medical team doubted his readiness for action until Saturday.

Vorsah's return boosts his chances of playing for the Black Stars at the World Cup finals.
