Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah scored his first goal for Red Bull Salzburg who won 3-1 against SV Mattersburg on Saturday in the Austrian top-flight.

The big centre-back turned in Schiemer's header from a free-kick taken by Klein to restore Red Bull's two-goal lead after the hour mark.

He joined the club from German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim and has been a towering figure.

Red Bull Salzburg took the lead after six minutes from the spot after Rodler brought down Berisha.

Referee Eisner did not not hesitate for a single second, pointing straight to the spot.

Soriano stepped up and converted the opener but the referee ordered the penalty to be retaken though and Soriano slotted the ball home again.

In the 52nd minute, Soriano converted another penalty after Mane was brought down inside the box by Mravac.

But Mattersburg pulled a goal back in the 56th minute via a quick break that saw Rath charge past Nielsen before pulling back to Höller who slotted the ball straight past Walke.

It took the Bulls just four minutes to respond and Vorsah scored for the league leaders.
