Wa All Stars coach Jimmy Cobblah is confident goalkeeper Richard Ofori can challenge Razak Brimah for Ghana’s No 1 spot.

The youngster is hugely touted as the man who can pose a genuine battle for the goalkeeping jersey as doubts continue to grow over ‘panicking’ Razak Brimah.

With the potential return of in-form Adam Kwarasey in doubts, All Stars coach Jimmy Cobblah belies his number one shot-stopper can compete for the position.

“I know how serious passionate Richard Ofori is. He loves what he does and if you’re passionate about what you do, God answers your prayers,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM

“ It is left with the coach to give him a chance and I know if he’s given a chance Ghanaians will know they have a number one goal keeper somewhere.”

Ofori was crowned Ghana’s best goalkeeper last season.

He has earned two call-ups into the Black Stars in recent times.
