Interim coach of Wa All Stars Alhaji Mumuni Sakpari has admitted that his team were overpowered by a strong Great Olympics side in week 21 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

All Stars travelled to the Accra Sports Stadium without a substantive coach following the sacking of Enos Adepah in the build up to the game.

Olympics who were keen on claiming three points in a bid to avoid the drop, started the game brightly and deservedly got the opener through midfielder Benjamin Arthur in the first half before an incredible solo strike by Cofie Bekoe sealed the win for the Dade Boys.

"We were second best on the day because our counterparts were aggressive and their energy was far too superior to us. Our players were too slow on the day, which is not acceptable at this level," Sakpari told reporters.

"I think we have to get back to the drawing board to see how we can work it out."

Wa All Stars occupy 12th position on the standings with 25 points after 21 matches.
