Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori has played down his side’s title defense after their 0-0 stalemate against Liberty Professionals on Saturday.

The Wa-based side have found purple patch form after their shaky start in the ongoing Ghana league following their six-match unbeaten run, and continued their fine form in Saturday at the Carl Reindhorf Park where they held Liberty Professionals to a goalless draw game.

However, when quizzed on their title defense in the aftermath of the game of the game, the agile custodian, “It is too early to talk of title defense just yet."

“We have earned a very important point on the road and that is the most important thing for now."

"We dropped points at home to Ebusua Dwarfs and to have earned a point here is very very important for us."

The match against the Dansoman-based side was Richard Ofori’s first game for the club this season after his failed move to South African Premier Soccer League.
