Wa All Stars head coach Jimmy Koblah says Inter Allies showed more hunger and desire in their 1-0 loss at Tema Park.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian’s side got a much needed respite thanks to a 56th minute strike by Baba Mensah.

Wa All Stars came into the game at the back of impressive victories over Hearts of Oak and Olympics but fell short of a convincing play in Tema.

Koblah says his team looked out of steam.

“We played well and I think both teams played well,” Koblah told Accra based Citi FM

“I think that Inter Allies deserved the win they played with much desire.”

“They looked more determined than we did and for me that was the difference.

The defeat sent Wa All Stars to third on league table whiles Inter Allies moved from 12th to 10th on the league log.
