Wa All Stars midfield gem David Abagna has dedicated his goal and Man-of-the Match award to deceased Asante Kotoko deputy assistant kit manager. 

He was on target with his 8th goal of the season as the defending league champions beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 at home.

The football community has rallied behind Kotoko who suffered a fatal car crash on Wednesday night on their return from Accra where they played Inter Allies.

Deputy Equipment Officer Kofi Asare died on the spot with several players and members of the technical team suffered injuries.

''I personally dedicate my goal and the MVP to the late equipment Officer for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Mr. Asare. He died whiles serving the game and Kotoko and must be given the support of the entire football fraternity world wide. We are behind Kotoko as a club and the family of Mr. Asare,'' Abagna told Ghana Crusader.
