WAFA skipper Mohammed Alhassan has bemoaned officiating during their 1-1 stalemate with Wa All Stars on Match Day 12 of the Ghana Premier League at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.

WAFA commenced the game against Northern Blues brightly and meritoriously opened the scoring in the 37th minute through Umar Bashiru.

Wa All Stars restored parity in the second half through a controversial penalty by David Abagna in the 55th minute.

Referee Justice Poku awarded Wa All Stars a late spot kick which was wasted before the official showed a red card to WAFA goalkeeper Richmond Ayi for twi bookable offence - to the dismay of the supporters at the stadium.

"How can you give these penalties, I'm not surprised a bit because the referee told me he was on the pitch to help Wa All Stars secure the three points," Alhassan told Oyerepa FM.

"I suspect he was influenced to officiate badly against us."
