WAFA striker Samuel Tetteh is over the moon following his late call-up into the Black Stars ahead of Tuesday’s international friendly against Congo Brazzaville.

The highly-rated teenager is among five players handed call-ups into the team by coach Avram Grant ahead of the friendly exercise against the Red Devil.

The former Ghana Under-20 midfielder admits his surprise at his late inclusion but says he will make the best of the opportunity.

I feel happy for this unexpected call up, because every player wishes to play in the highest level and representing your country is something wonderful especially in the Black Stars,” he told the club’s official Facebook page

I'm looking forward to take this opportunity to prove myself even if it’s the last minute of the game i will try my best to prove myself, I feel relax and also happy.

Tetteh, nickname Zidane, is currently in Congo Brazzaville where he is expected to feature for the Black Meteors in this year’s All Africa Games.
