Striker Abdul Majeed Waris is staying patient in making his competitive debut for the Ghana national team.
The 20-year-old did not make the Black Stars squad that defeated Malawi 2-0 in the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier last Saturday.
The Hacken hitman who currently leads the goalscoring charts in Sweden is however part of Ghanaââ¬â¢s team that is in Liberia for an international friendly with the Lone Stars today and with a real chance of playing.
And Waris says it will noy be long until he gets his chance to play in a competitive game for the Black Stars once he keeps working hard.
ââ¬ÅI am working hard and staying patient and I know that definitely my chance will come and when it comes I am prepared to play,â⬠he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅIt will be a very good game and hopefully I will get the chance to play.
ââ¬ÅThe most important thing is to do what you can do to help the team for the victory to come.ââ¬
Ghanaââ¬â¢s next competitive game will be the return leg match of the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi in Blantyre next month.
