Berekum Chelsea edged struggling Wa All Stars 1-0 at the Golden City Park in Berekum in mid-week.

Left-back Richard Kissi Boateng headed home the only goal of the game from a Jordan Opoku corner-kick in the 4th minute.

This is game the Blues should have won by a wider margin but their attack fired blank.

Bismark Idan should have doubled the lead but his 28th minute crashed into the near post.

A free-kick swung in from the right saw Salifu pop a header across the face of goal.

Idan followed up with a header but his effort crashed into the near post.

Solomon Asante outwitted two All Stars defenders in the 30th minute before slipping a pass to Salifu but he fired wide from the edge of the box.

Chelsea continued to dominate possession and created the chances but wasted all of them.

Asante, Salifu and Opoku all missed glorious chances.
