Baba Rahman tastes defeat on Bundesliga debut for Augsburg

Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman played his first Bundesliga match for Augsburg on Saturday as they opened their campaign a 2-0 reverse at  TSG Hoffenheim. 

The left-back was handed a starting role by coach Markus Weinzierl and played the entire duration at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

The 21-year-old made the switch from Bundesliga II side Greuther Furth two weeks ago has given a good account of himself.

Hoffenheim needed two quick first half goals from Adam Szala on 33 minutes and Tarik Elyounoussi two minutes later to wrap up the win.

Rahman has been invited for Ghana's double 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and Togo next month.
