Ghana can cope without Yahaya Mohammed, according to Maxwell Konadu

Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu insists his side can cope without talisman Yahaya Mohammed ahead of Tuesday’s CHAN final group C game against Ethiopia.

The Ghanaian trainer will be without his top striker after he was suspended for the clash following yellow card accumulation.

However the Black Stars assistant coach remains confident in his other troops insisting  Mohammed's absence won’t be missed.

“We brought a lot of strikers so if one is not playing the next match I think others are ready to compete,” Konadu is quoted by Accra-based Asempa FM.

“We’ll not say we have lost one player so that is the end for the team, we will still compete at the very highest level.

“All the boys are equally good and everybody is waiting for his chance.”

The Kotoko attacker has been by the far the most impressive player on the pitch and was voted the man-of-the-match during their 1-1 draw against Libya last Friday.
