Orlando Wellington has confirmed notice of intense reports of an imminent sack from Berekum Chelsea but insists he is not bothered by them.

Fresh from winning the Best Coach award after guiding Chelsea to the league title in just their third year in the elite division, the ex Heart of Lions coach has however had to deal with constant reports linking him away from the club.

Technical reconstruction by management which has already affected assistant coach, Abubakar Yusif appears to be heading the direction of Wellington according to media reports.

"I have heard these reports but I know there is something wrong somewhere," Wellington told GHANAsoccernet.com after taking delivery of his award on Saturday.

"Anything can happen, as a coach you expect things like that. The most important thing is to make sure that as and when you depart from a club you leave with a good name.

"You never know, you might like to return to the same club one day."

Wellington dedicated his first Coach of the Year award to his entire technical team but was adamant he was the right man for the accolade.

"It is a great joy and huge privilege to win this award, I didn't do the work alone so I dedicate this award to my entire technical staff and the players.

"Since I am the head, I organize every training, I organize everything, any other coaches who was beside me was working under me so I deserve what I hold at the moment."
