Alexis Sanchez has been labelled as a lion committed to killing its prey.
The Chilean forward sustained a slight hamstring injury in Arsenal's 3-0 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night but Arsene Wenger is confident he will be fit to tackle Norwich City this weekend.
Wenger is amazed by the healing powers Sanchez possesses and believes the former Barcelona star has a 'killer' attitude whenever he steps out onto the pitch for the Gunners.
"When he does something, he does it 100%," Wenger said. "He finishes and you think: 'He's dead now.'
"But then he recovers and gives 100% again. You always see signs of exhaustion but it's not [that] because two days later, he's fine.
"His style is very explosive, it's a very committed style.
"(Leicester City's) Jamie Vardy is a bit similar. When they go, they go. They are like the lion. He has to catch the animal in the first 200 metres. If he doesn't get there, he's dead [on his feet] afterwards.
"They are these kind of killers. When they go, it is to kill and after, they have to stop."
Wenger added that Sanchez has the ability to recover quickly from any ailments due to the fact that he grew up without the coddling of many other modern day players.
"His resistance is remarkable. What is also remarkable is that he goes to South America to play, he comes back on Thursday night and on Saturday he can play without a problem, even if he's jet-lagged. He would have been a perfect tennis player," Wenger added.
"You have to think that these type of players do not have the academic education that we give now to players at 15, 16 years of age, who have a physio every day.
"They are more street players, not pampered."
This season, Sanchez has scored six Premier League goals in 13 outings for a total of nine goals in all competitions.
