Ghana Football Association Vice President George Afriyie has insisted that the Black Stars are not keen on the final results of the upcoming two international friendly games.

Ghana will play against El Tri of Mexico tonight at the NRG Stadium in Houston Texas before squaring-off against the Yankees of USA on July 1 in a double-header international friendly games.

However, the Ghana FA vice capo, who also doubles as the Black Stars management committee chairman, has indicated that the team is not eager to beat their opponents but due to the FIFA ranking points, it will serve them well to avoid defeat in the two matches.

"In every football game you want to win but the purpose is not too much of win, win, win," says Afriyie at the Black Stars base.

"Yes of course we'd want to win because in these friendlies, the Coca Cola points are at stake, so you need to take advantage of them, so the win is yes."

The game will kick-off at 8pm American time but 1:06 GMT.
