West Brom chairman Williams keen to extend Pulis deal

West Brom boss Tony Pulis is set to win a new contract.

The Daily Mail says Albion are ready to offer Tony Pulis an improved one-year contract extension this summer, taking his commitment to the club to 2019.

Pulis only penned a fresh 12-month deal last October but West Brom will move to secure his services in recognition of a fine season and promising future.

Under the Welshman West Brom are closing in on a record points total of 50 and implementing an increasingly adventurous style of play, particularly at the Hawthorns.

The Welshman's current deal, signed only five months ago, expires at the end of next season and West Brom chairman John Williams will recommend to owner Guochuan Lai that terms are improved and lengthened by another year.
