West Ham again looking at Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez

West Ham United are believed to be again showing interest in Rafa Benitez.

The Daily Mirror suggests that the Hammers could move for the Newcastle United boss if results under Slaven Bilic do not improve.

Reading's Jaap Stam has already been linked with the post at the London Stadium but it is understood that West Ham are looking at the possibility of luring Benitez to East London from St James' Park.

The Hammers wanted the former Liverpool boss two years ago but were beaten to the punch by Real Madrid.

Benitez is expected to gain automatic promotion with Newcastle, who sit top of the Championship table, but he was reportedly disillusioned with the north east outfit's failure to sign new players in January and may look elsewhere if he is not impressed by their ambition this summer.
