West Ham considering trio of high-profile Premier League stars could put Andre Ayew future in doubt

Reports that West Ham United are considering transfer moves for trio Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Kelechi Iheanacho has put the future of Andre Ayew in doubts.

The signing of any of the three players could affect the Ghana international at the club.

The Hammers are understood to be hopeful of signing at least one of Arsenal duo  Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud, while they keep tabs on Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho.

Clearly, Andre Ayew's future will come under the spotlight if the Hammers are successful with their bid for the at least two of the targets.

The former Swansea City endured a difficult debut campaign at West Ham where injury conspired against his form.

The £20.5million record signing scored only six goals for the side after staying out injured for three months.

He spent the next three weeks between January and February representing Ghana at the international level during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Several of the Hammers’ attacking options will be concerned by these tantalising rumours, but Ayew, whose top form is still to come, should be excited about the higher quality of talent that he may well have around him next term.
