Godfred Manner, the highly talented West Prime Platinum FC midfielder, is on the verge of landing a dream move to top Serbian giants, Red Star Belgrade.

At a time that it is not a common occurrence for a Division Two player to get the opportunity to trial with a top European club, Manner has been handed the opportunity and has so far been lauded for his performance.

Manner, who was hugely admired by the management of West Prime Platinum FC, as well as coaches and play mates, is expected to end a successful trial to land a deal with the Serbian giants.

Manner attributes his meteoric rise to the quality of his team mates, the encouragement from his technical handlers and the business-like approach of the club's management.

The youngster is very hopeful of making the grade at Red Star Belgrade, and thus paving the way for more of his colleagues to also get the opportunity to make dream moves to the big European leagues.

On his part, Founder and Chairman of West Prime Platinum FC, Mr. Chukwuka Nathan, was hopeful that Godfred Manner will make the club proud by passing the trial and go on to become a key player of Red Star.

"Godfred Manner has been one of our major discoveries of the last season and I am not surprised that he has gotten this wonderful opportunity. It is my hope and prayer that he does well and goes on to excel in even bigger clubs in Europe", Mr. Nathan said.
