Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has ruled out signing out-of-contract Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson.
The 33-year-old has been training with the Latics after he left Blackpool at the end of last season.
Kingson has been welcomed back at his former side alongside Senegal forward El Hadji Diouf.
But Martinez said neither are being considered as new signings.
"We have Kingson training with us but I think it has been blown out of proportion," the Spaniard said.
"They bring a real air of professionalism and great experience into our training sessions and it is beneficial for everyone. But there is nothing else apart from they are training with us."
