New Great Olympics striker Eric Bekoe says he will not celebrate if he scores against his former club Asante Kotoko.

The 27-year-old has completed his two-year move to the Wonder club as a free agent after a reported return to Kotoko fell through.

Bekoe returned to the Ghanaian top flight two years ago where he had hoped to have signed for the cub where he made his name.

He eventually signed for then cash kings Berekum Chelsea.

Bekoe scored for the Blues in their famous 2-0 win over the Porcupine Warriors where he celebrated franticly much to the dismay of the Red fans.

The Ghana international now says he will not celebrate if he scores against the champions while playing for Olympics.

“Everyone knows my love for Kotoko so I don’t need to say anything more about it,” he told Metro FM.

“I celebrated against them last time because of what I went through but that is all the past now.

“I can assure you that I will not celebrate if I score against Kotoko. This is a personal decision.”

Bekoe hopes to hit the highs that once made him the most sought after striker on the local scene in 2008.

He is however coming back from a serious broken leg injury that threatened his career.
