Hearts midfielder Winful Cobbinah accepts Ashantigold are doing well, but says the Phobians are focusing on themselves ahead of Sunday’s Premier League date.
The miners will host the Accra-based side at Obuasi, with both sides fresh from their impressive outings on Wednesday.
Hearts recorded an important 2-0 win over city rivals Liberty Professionals while Ashantigold came from behind to draw 1-1 at Aduana Stars to maintain their unbeaten run the League.
“We admit that they (Ashantigold) are currently doing well,†Cobbinah said
"The main focus will be on us as a team. We have ambitions and we also want to achieve results on the day. We are in a class of our own. We are second on the table and still pushing hard.
"Preparations for the game are going well and I think we will be ready on Sunday.
“We need the support of our fans. There are times when we make mistakes and that doesn’t mean we commit them deliberately. We are always mindful of their support.
"We always work hard to make the supporters proud. We are going there with a mindset to pick all three points.
Ashantigold trail Hearts by only three points.
