Solomon Asante has left his base in DR Congo to join the Black Stars camp in France ahead of the friendly matches against Senegal and Mali.

The 25-year-old is one of the players called up for this month’s friendlies to be played in France.

Asante is expected to arrive in the Black Stars camp by Wednesday morning to join his teammates in preparations.

He likely to be given precious game time in the friendlies having struggled for regular first team opportunities at international level.

Grant would want to use the opportunity to closely assess the skillful winger towards giving him more game time in future if he impresses.

The former Berekum Chelsea star has been a regular performer for DR Congo giants TP Mazembe.
