TP Mazembe star Solomon Asante claims he is still contract to the club despite circling reports he has left the DR Congo giants.
Local reports suggested he had quit the Ravens after the end of last season's campaign.
The former Ghana international is dragging his feet on signing a new contract but has revealed he is part of the team.
''I was shocked and don't know why someone will write that, I saw it and I was very surprised,'' the diminutive winger told Atinka FM.
''I am still a player of TP Mazembe and I was even part of the team that played in the Confederation Cup over the weekend.
''I was on the bench and it was the coach's decision, but is not true I have left Mazembe, I am still under contract and I am still their player.''
Asante is reported to be on the wishlist of South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.
