Rashid Sumailaà has admitted he is more confident than ever of making Kwesi Appiah's Ghana squad for the World Cup finals.
Sumaila, 22, is a likely candidate to make Ghanaââ¬â¢s World Cup squad after impressing for South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.
The defender also played a key role for the Black Stars during the qualifiers for the global piece in South Africa.
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has revealed he has penciled down close to 20 ââ¬Ëuntouchablesââ¬â¢ ahead of the tournament and the former Ebusua Dwarfs strong centre-back is confident of making the 23-man squad to Brazil.
ââ¬ÅI have also heard about ââ¬Ëuntouchableââ¬â¢ players in the team. It is the prerogative of the coach to decide who he picks for the tournament,â⬠he said
ââ¬ÅBut as a player you must have confidence in yourself. And so I believe Iââ¬â¢m part of the players who will make the trip to Brazil.
ââ¬ÅI have no doubt in my mind that I will make the final squad. But that decision will be taken by the coach. But I am confident about my chances.ââ¬
Kwesi Appiah has up to end of May to firm up his final squad for the tournament which kicks start in June.
