Tunisia-based Ghana youth midfielder Siedu Salifu believes he fits the bill to be considered in Ghana’s World Cup squad.

The Club Africain player is counting on his form to be part of Kwesi Appiah’s contingent to Brazil this June.

Salifu, who excelled at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey, is currently in Ghana due to some family issues.

“It’s everybody’s dream to be part of the national team. I have won two individual awards this season and I have improved as a player. I have been active all season for my club, missing just four matches,” Salifu said.

“If am given the opportunity to help my national team in the World Cup why not?. I have contributed my quota to the national under-20 team, the Black Satellites and am looking forward to making same for the Black Stars.”
