World Cup 2018: Algeria, Nigeria, Cameroon in Group of Death
The team of Nigeria celebrate after winning the FIFA U-17 Men's World Cup 2015 final match between Mali and Nigeria at Estadio Sausalito

Africa will miss one of the powerhouses at the 2018 World Cup in Russia as three major countries have been drawn in the same group.

Ranked first in Africa, Algeria will battle it out with Cameroon and Nigeria for the single ticket of the group for the biggest soccer fiesta in Russia.

Group B is a group with experienced World Cup countries as three of the countries have been at the World Cup sixteen times together.

Algeria have appeared at the World Cup on four different occasions after making their debut in 1982.

Cameroon, the African country with the most appearances at the World Cup with seven appearances will battle the Super Eagles of Nigeria who have five appearances at the event.

Zambia is the only country with no World Cup experience in the group but will obviously not be pushovers.

Even though it promises to provide Africa with a strong team for the world cup from that group, Africa is surely missing three powerhouses for the event in 2018.
